Neither one reads better
Start with the thing people worry about: video is not more accurate, and phone is not a lesser reading. Advisors do not read your face. They read your voice, your question, and whatever it is they sense around you, and all of that comes through a phone line as clearly as it comes through a camera. Many advisors who have worked for years actually prefer the phone. There is less to look at, so there is more to listen to.
So the choice is about you, not about the reading.
When video is the right choice
You settle in faster with a face. Some people find it much easier to say the real thing to a person they can see. If you know that about yourself, choose video. It feels like sitting across a table.
You want the reading to feel like an appointment. Video has a bit more ceremony to it. You sit down, you look at someone, you begin. For a big question, that can help.
You are booking a mediumship sitting and want to see the advisor. Some people find that reassuring in a sitting about someone they have lost, and some do not want to be seen crying. Both are fine, and the sitting is the same either way.
When phone is the right choice
You want privacy. On the phone nobody sees your room, your face, or what you look like at eleven at night. You can take the reading in the car, on a walk, or in bed with the lights off.
You are nervous. It is easier to be honest when no one is watching you be honest. A lot of first readings go better on the phone for exactly that reason.
You want to take notes. On a phone call you can write while you listen without feeling rude.
Your connection is poor. A phone reading survives a weak signal far better than video does, and a reading that freezes every thirty seconds is a reading that never gets going.
