A package of minutes is paid for whether you use it or not. A membership keeps charging whether you call or not. Credits sit in an account, and when a reading misses, the refund tends to come back as more credits, spendable only on the same site. None of that is for you. It is for the site's cash flow, and it makes every reading after the first feel free, which is exactly how you end up spending more.
There is a second cost, quieter. Once you have a balance, you use it. The question of whether you actually want a reading tonight gets answered by the account rather than by you.
How it works here
No. There is no subscription, no membership, no credits, and no packages of minutes. You choose a reading, you see one flat price, you pay for that reading and nothing else.
The four lengths are The Question, 5 to 10 minutes for $39; The Reading, 15 to 20 minutes for $75, the one most people book; The Deep Dive, 30 to 40 minutes for $135; and The Hour, 60 minutes for $185. Prime evening hours run a few dollars more, and late nights a little higher still, and every price is on the calendar before you choose. A $2 booking fee is shown at checkout, next to the price, before you enter a card. It is the only fee. How much does a psychic reading cost lays all of it out.
There is nothing to cancel afterward, because nothing was started. There is no tier that unlocks the good advisors; every advisor here auditioned with live readings before joining. And you do not fund a wallet: if a reading did not leave you clearer, tell us within 24 hours and we rebook you free or refund every penny to your card, never site credit.
What that changes about the reading
When nothing is paid up front for later and nothing renews, each reading has to be worth booking on its own. That is the point. Your advisor is paid for the reading, not for how long you stay on the line, and there is no balance quietly nudging you toward one more call. If you want another reading next month, book one. If you don't, nothing happens.
